Speyburn 1975 Edition Cask 7

A combination of first‑fill and refill European oak butts and American oak hogsheads, filled in 1975 and matured until 2017, before a final period of finishing in first‑fill Oloroso sherry casks from 2017 to 2026. Exclusively available from our brand home during  Spirit of Speyside Festival.

This remarkable distillery exclusive marks a true milestone – our oldest ever bottling, a limited edition whisky matured for an extraordinary 50 years.

Its deep bronze colour hints at the time and care behind every drop of this rare 50 year old whisky. On the nose, candied citrus and dried fruits sit comfortably alongside soft baking spices, antique oak and a gentle touch of smoke. The palate is rich yet welcoming, with baked apple and spiced raisins lifted by citrus peel and balanced by treacle toffee sweetness. A rare whisky shaped by time, crafted in small quantities, made to be savoured and remembered.
